Legality of Equilibria Hemp ProductsUpdated 19 days ago

Equilibria offers full-spectrum hemp products that include CBD, CBN, and low-dose THC, all derived from federally legal hemp. Below, we address some of the most frequently asked questions about the legality of our products.

Yes! The  2018 Farm Bill federally legalized hemp-derived cannabinoids, including CBD and low-dose THC, as long as the final product contains less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Equilibria’s full-spectrum products comply with these federal regulations.

However, state laws regarding CBD can vary. Some states impose stricter regulations than federal law, so we encourage you to research your local regulations before purchasing or using CBD products. Additionally, any cannabis-derived products containing more than 0.3% THC remain federally illegal, except in states where medical and/or recreational cannabis use is permitted.

If you live in a state where medical and/or recreational cannabis is legal and choose to partake, our Certified Wellness Coaches and Cannabis Experts are happy to chat about how to incorporate THC-dominant products alongside your CBD regimen.

Will Equilibria Products Show Up on a Drug Test?

Everyone's body chemistry is different, so drug testing results can vary. While it is uncommon for members to test positive given the very low THC content in our products, it is not impossible.

Think of it like consuming alcohol. If a beer contains 5% ABV (Alcohol By Volume), the amount you drink determines your blood alcohol level. Similarly, even though our products contain 0.3% THC or less, the amount you consume can impact whether THC is detectable in a drug test.

If you are concerned about drug testing, we recommend purchasing an over-the-counter THC test from your local pharmacy to check for yourself before undergoing any formal screening.

Do You Ship Low-Dose THC Products to All States?

At Equilibria, we adhere to all state and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of THC products. Due to specific state laws, we are unable to ship Tipsy low-dose THC products to certain locations. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Why Won’t Equilibria Ship CBN Products to Oregon?

Due to updated state regulations, we are no longer able to ship products containing CBN to Oregon.

CBN (cannabinol) is a cannabinoid that develops naturally in the hemp plant as it ages. To ensure our CBN products meet high-quality standards, Equilibria accelerates the plant’s natural CBN production in a laboratory setting using natural methods, such as heat.

Oregon has enacted laws banning all lab-processed cannabinoids, regardless of whether they are derived through safe and natural methods. While this ruling may be justified for certain synthetic cannabinoids like delta-8-THC, we believe Oregon’s restriction on naturally occurring CBN is misguided, as it is the only state enforcing this regulation.

If you reside in Oregon, we encourage you to connect with one of our Certified Wellness Coaches to explore alternative product options.
